Новости: Employees of the Territorial Center for Disaster Medicine of the Kaliningrad Region took part in joint exercises in the Baltic Sea
Upon receiving a distress signal, the MSC establishes contact with the emergency facility, clarifies the situation, notifies rescue services, conducts emergency radio exchange during the search and rescue operation, and, if necessary, organizes the evacuation of victims and their placement on shore.
According to the legend, a passenger ship collided with a small refrigerated fishing trawler, as a result of which it received a hole, and water began to flow into the ship's compartments. The trawler sank after the collision. There were victims on board the passenger ship and the trawler, and three more people were overboard.
From the Territorial Disaster Medicine Service of the Kaliningrad Region, units of the Territorial Disaster Medicine Center (TDCMC KO), ambulance teams from the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, and the City Clinical Emergency Medical Care Hospital were involved in the exercises. According to the Interaction Plan for the Elimination of the Consequences of Emergencies, teams from the 1409th Naval Medical Group of the Baltic Fleet were involved in the exercises. During the exercises, all elements at the training points were fully worked out by the medical units, and the issues of management and interaction with all rescue services were worked out. For the first time, during the exercises, the element of using rescuers on an ATV to deliver victims from the ship to the sorting site was studied, as well as the possibility of using an ATV with a trailer to transport victims on an unequipped coast.
