MEDICAL SANITARY CHARACTERISTIC OF SAILOR ACTIVITY AT FISHING SHIPCRAFT

Koubassov R.V., Lupachev V.V.

Abstract

In this paper were characterized a sea work environment in that are sailors and meet one’s professional engagements during fishing voyage. Health negative factors were specified. Among one’s a more impacted are physical (noise, vibration, mechanical blow, interfrequency and ionization), chemical. Besides of technological affects a very important is climate geographic and social psychological agents. Widest impacts from this are temperature, air features, photoperiodical changes. A natural sea environment impact a high claims to organism homeostatic system and can lead to premorbid or pathological conditions. It was concluded about extreme sea work environment that affect to adaptive stress and regulatory system disturbances. This one led to health decrease and work decrement. A medical support system sailors must include allow for different adverse professional factors for developing a quality and safeguard working conditions.

FEATURES OF MYOCARDIUM ELECTROBIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY IN RECRUITS OF NAVAL FLEET TRAINING CENTER IN CONDITIONS OF EUROPEAN NORTH

Gudkov A.B., Popova O.N., Ivanov V.D., Nebuchennykh A.A.

Abstract

The results of a dynamic 5-month electrocardiographic examination of two recruit groups of the Navy training center located in the European North have been presented. The first group (n=37) consisted of the recruits from the RF southern regions, the second group (n=37) consisted of the recruits from the northern regions. With use of an electrocardiograph ЭК1Т-03М, electrocardiograms were recorded monthly, deflections’ duration and amplitude, duration of intervals and segments were measured manually. It has been established that by the end of the training in the training center in group 1, deflection P duration, PQ intervals showed a statistically significant increase, and the recruits from group 2 did not show such changes. Deflection T amplitude changed to a greater degree also in the recruits of group 1. The military men from group 1 used more time for regeneration of the right myocardium out of the total duration of the electric systole than for the processes of excitation propagation. In group 1 in the first 5 months, both the right and left heart compartments were in condition of functional stress, but it concerned more the right heart. In group 2, only the left heart was in condition of functional stress, what was probably caused by absence of climatic-zonal contrasts in this group during active duty recall.

EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HYPOXIC CONDITIONING IN PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL TRAINING OF SUBMARINERS

Khankevich Y.R., Sapozhnikov K.V., Parfenov S.A., Sedov A.V.

Abstract

Among many submarine duties, operator jobs are especially difficult. Submarine operator duties are associated with especially high risks and are carried out under conditions of long-term separation from shore and under a number of other negative onboard influences. At the same time, a success in military duties is heavily dependent on the working conditions of operators; therefore, preventing adverse changes in their workability is an important task of navy medicine. One of approaches to performing this task is based on pre-cruise psychophysiological training as an integrated means of developing the organismal functional systems of operators. A widely used technique of accommodating to extreme environmental challenges is intermittent hypoxic conditioning. In a study carried out with 12 operator officers, such conditioning was found to increase their tolerance to fatigue and adverse onboard factors at work in submarines and thus to be useful as an approach to pre-cruise training of submariners.

NEW HIGHLY EFFECTIVE METHOD OF TREATMENT DECOMPRESSION SICKNESS AND PULMONARY BAROTRAUMA

Logunov A.T., Sokolov G.M.

Abstract

Specialists of the Institute of Biomedical Problems, Russian Academy of Sciences has developed a new, highly effective method of treatment of decompression disease and pulmonary barotrauma - a method of therapeutic recompression with pressure up to 1,1 MPa (100 m of water column) and a long-term dweil at a pressure of 0,5 MPa (40 m water column), followed by decompression in nitrogen-oxygen-helium environment at a partial pressure of oxygen 0,045-0,05 MPa. This mode is intended for the treatment of victims of the delay admission for treatment after the onset of the disease, as well as in severe diseases. This method allows you to eliminate the gas bubbles in the blood and other tissues and repair damaged body tissues embolic process. The high efficiency of the method in the treatment of more than 50 patients. On the application of the method received permission from the Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation as a new medical technology. Length of the method must have barokompleks (pressure chamber) equipped with a full-fledged life support systems.

SATISFACTION WITH SEX LIFE AMONG NAVY PERSONNEL ACCORDING TO SEXOLOGIC SURVEY

Kutelev G.M., Zaitsev A.G.

Abstract

The study attempted to trace changes in Navy personnel members satisfaction with their sex life over the period of the active phase of reforms in the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Changes that were revealed include decreased proportion of subjects inclined to sexual excesses, increased frequency and duration of coituses, and higher subjective estimates of sexual success. At the same time, the evidence obtained suggest that the physiological, primarily the erectile, component of sex life in Navy personnel members is highly vulnerable to the adverse effects of military service. This finding warants working out of novel health care standards of sexological support, including medical, psychological and pedagogical interventions, aimed at preparing prospective navy offices to family life.

Lobzin Y.V., Poznyak A.L., Sydorchuk S.N.

Abstract

Among the diseases and damages with which the personnel of the Navy seek medical care, a significant place is occupied by infectious diseases. Principles of organization of medical care of infectious patients are common to all branches of the armed forces, but the Navy medical support is implemented in other forms, for example, than in the Army. Specific conditions of military service of the Navy (coastal military units, surface and submarine forces, aviation Navy and grouping of naval forces at a considerable distance from the main locations) require the medical services of additional knowledge about the organization of rendering of medical aid to patients with various infectious diseases, including those not typical for daily activities of the medical service on the territory of the Russian Federation.
